Walking into this pub is like stepping back in time. What with patterned carpets, dim lighting and the mainly male population hoovering around the darts board like hungry wolves.
The Meadow Covert is spilt into two sections - one that looks like a working mens club whilst the other reminds me of Coronation's Street's infamous pub "The Rovers Return". In fact the Rovers, i mean The Meadow Covert reminds me of a pub that i used to live opposite to in my student days. If you dared to walk up to the bar and asked for anything other than a pint, the barman would look at you like you had just stepped off Mars.
Not a place for any girlie girls - unless you're really into darts.
