Taken over by new & local landlord and landlady in August 2008 - and what a difference to the true previous comments � In my opinion the previous tenants should never have been in the Pub trade. New owners could not be more friendly and accommodating. They are now open to the full licensing hours and serve good value and varied food choice 7 days a week from simple cobs to full al a carte, available to eat almost anywhere including in the lovely garden area. They have no problem accommodating large dining parties but if very large group, probably still better to pre warn them.They have refurbished the car park, dining lounge area, and restaurant added Sky & Setanta Sports, Darts added all the stuff a local pub should have like beer draws, quizzes and fun nights. � Worth a visit.

This must be the worst pub in the Vale of Belvoir. We were told to arrive at a certain time for food, which we did. Others arriving at the same time were sent packing, as they could not be fed. Some brought their own food and ate it in the garden, only to be threatened that even though they couldn't buy any food, they weren't allowed to eat their own either! Food is outrageously cheap, but that can't make up for poor customer service. Beer was the usual Greene King fare - only served far too cold.
